Instructions:
Using 4 mm needles cast on 25 in red double knit
Complete 3 rows in K1 P1 rib
Change to yellow: (K3 inc) repeat to end
Purl
Change to green: (K3 inc) repeat to end
Purl
Red: (K3 inc) repeat to end
Purl
Continue in SS:
2 rows in yellow
2 rows in green
2 rows in red
Yellow: (K2 tog) repeat to end
Purl
Green: (K2 tog) repeat to end
Purl
Red: (K2 tog) repeat to end
Purl
B & T tightly

Making Up:
Sew up the seam.
Attach some dreadlocks with oddments of black wool and a crochet hook.
I did approximately 12 per hat – looping the wool back on its self at random lengths.
