Dougal's Body
Using 4mm needles and beige DK wool cast on 28sts. 1st row: Knit 10 sts in loopy stitches, knit 8, Knit 10 sts in loopy stitches 2nd row: Purl Repeat rows 1 & 2 twice. 7th row: Knit 11 sts in loopy stitches, knit 6, Knit 11 sts in loopy stitches 8th row: Purl 9th row: Knit 12 sts in loopy stitches, knit 4, Knit 12 sts in loopy stitches 10th row: Purl 11th row: Knit 13 sts in loopy stitches, knit 2, Knit 13 sts in loopy stitches 12th row: Purl 13th row: (K2 tog, loopy stitch) rpt to end 14th row: (P2tog) rpt to end B&T Cut all loops in half |

Dougal's Nose – using 3mm, black DK wool and Garter stitch
Cast on 2sts 1st row: Knit 2nd row: (Inc) rpt to end (4sts) 3rd row: Knit 1, inc x 2, Knit 1 (6sts) Rows 4 - 10: Knit 11th row: Knit 1, K2tog, K2tog, K1 (4sts) 12th row: K2tog, K2tog (2sts) 13th row: Knit 14th row: B&T |
Dougal's tongue – using 3mm and red DK wool
Cast on 3 sts 1st Row: Knit 2nd Row: Purl 3rd Row: K1, inc in next st, K1 (4sts) 4th Row: Purl 5th Row: K1, inc in next 2 stitches, K1 (6sts) 6th Row: Purl 7th Row: K1, K2tog x 2, K1 (4sts) 8th Row: Purl 9th Row: K2tog x 2 (2sts) 10th Row –slip wool through 2sts. |

Making Up: Sew on tongue. Sew on nose leaving a gap to fill with stuffing and sew on eyes – I used an 8mm black cup sequin & a 6mm round black bead for each eye. Sew up body. |
