Body - Using 3 mm needles and double knit pink yarn Cast on 30 stitches and Knit 2 rows. (K1 using contrast colour, k1 in pink) rpt to end Next row: Purl using pink yarn Continue using pink Stocking stitch another 14 rows. Next row: (K2tog) rpt to end. (15 sts) Next row: (P2tog) rpt to end (8 sts) Cut yarn leaving a long thread pull through remaining stitches Join seam this completes the body. Head - Using white Cast on 4 stitches and purl 1 row Next row: (Inc in each st) rpt to end (8 sts) Next row: Purl one row Next row: (Inc in each st) rpt to end (16 sts) Next row: Purl Next row: (K2, inc in next st) rpt to last st, K1 (21 sts) Starting with a purl row stocking stitch 3 rows Next row: (K2, K2tog) rpt to end (8 sts) Next row: Purl Next row: (K2tog) rpt to last st, k1 (4 sts) Cut yarn leave a long tail and thread through remaining stitches Sew seam, stuff and attach head to body |

EARS - Using white
Cast on 5 stitches Work 6 rows in K1, P1 rib Next row: K1, P3tog, K1 (3 sts) Next row: K1, K2tog (2 sts) Bring stitch first stitch over second stitch on needle Cut yarn and thread through remaining stitch Thread tail of cast off edge through middle of ear (this gives a bending effect) to bottom of cast on edge Sew ears to top of head |
