Instructions:
Main hat Using 4mm needles cast on 28 sts in lilac
Rows 1-2: Knit
Rows 3-16: Starting with a knit row SS 14 rows
Row 17: (K2tog) rpt to end (14 sts)
Row 18: (P2tog) rpt to end (7 sts)
B & T

Hands – make 2 in lilac, cast on 10 sts leaving a long tail of wool
Row 1: Cast off 5 sts, K to end (5sts)
Row 2: P to end, cast on 5 sts (10sts)
Row 3: Cast off 5 sts, K to end (5st)
Rows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14: Same as row 2
Rows 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 same as row 3
Row 15: Cast off all sts leave a long tail of wool

Making Up:
Head: Add 2 black felt circles for eyes and a black embroidered sad mouth. Add black strands for the hair and a small blue pom-pom nose. Refer to picture.
Hands: To make up you will have 8 fingers fold in half right side out, and put 2 fingers together all the way along you will now have 4 fingers doubled. Over sew all up side and round the fingers and down other side. Sew on the sides of main hat. Take a look at picture if you’re not sure.
