Instructions:
Main hat Using 4mm needles
Cast on 28 sts in red
Rows 1-2: Knit
Rows 3-18: Starting with a K row SS 16 rows
Row 19: (K2tog) rpt to end (14sts)
Row 20: (P2tog) rpt to end (7sts)
B & T

Hands – make 2,
1 in yellow and 1 in turquoise
Cast on 10 sts in either turquoise or yellow leaving a long tail of wool
Row 1: Cast off 5 sts, K to end (5sts)
Row 2: P to end, Cast on 5 sts (10sts)
Row 3: Cast off 5 sts, K to end (5st)
Rows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14: Same as row 2
Rows 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 same as row 3
Row 15: Cast off all sts leave a long tail of wool

Plant Pot Hat – cast on 10 sts in brown
Rows 1-2: Starting with a knit row SS 2 rows
Row 3: Inc in first st knit to last st, inc (12sts)
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: Same as row 3 (14sts)
Cast off Purl wise

Stem of flower
In green cast on 3 sts
In I-cord knit 6 rows
Cast off  

Making Up:
Head: Sew row ends together
Hands: To make up you will have 8 fingers fold in half right side out, and put 2 fingers together all the way along you will now have 4 fingers doubled. Over sew all up side and round the fingers and down other side. Sew on the sides of main hat. Take a look at picture if you’re not sure.
Hat: Sew row ends together and bottom, leaving the top open sew the stem inside the plant pot, and then add a flower, I’ve used a button and sewn it on with yellow thread to the stem. Then sew the plant pot to the top of the main hat
Face: Add 2 black eyes of felt and a black smiley mouth.
