Instructions:
Main hat
Cast on 28 sts on 4mm needles
Rows 1-2: Knit
Rows 3-18: Stocking stitch starting with a knit row.
Row 19: (K2tog) rpt to end
Row 20: (P2tog) rpt to end
B&T

Ears make 2
Cast on 4 stitches on 4mm needles
Row 1: Inc knit wise in every stitch (8 sts)
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Purl
Cast off K wise

Mouth
Cast on 4 stitches in cream on 4mm needles
Row 1: Inc K wise into every stitch (8 sts)
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Inc K wise into every stitch (16 sts)
Row 4: P4 in cream, P8 in red, P4 in cream
Row 5: K4 in cream. K8 in red, K4 in cream
Rows 6-7: Repeat these 2 row once more
Row 8: Purl all in cream
Row 9: Knit all in cream
Row 10: (P2tog)rpt to end
Row 11: (K2tog)rpt to end
B&T

Making Up:
Sew the row ends of the hat.
Sew the ears to the side of the hat.
Stuff the mouth and attach to the front of hat.
Add 2 black buttons for eyes and sew on some eyebrows and nostrils using black wool as seen in the picture.
For the main part of the hat and the ears Jeanette used a dk brown and cream fleck wool.
