Cast on 27sts and SS 8 rows
Row 9: Knit 9st, turn
Row 10: P2tog, purl to end (8sts)
Row 11: K2tog, knit to end (7sts)
Row 12: Purl
Row 13: K2tog, knit to end (6sts)
Row 14: P2tog, purl to end (5sts)
Row 15: Knit
Row 16: Purl
Row 17: K2tog, knit to end (4sts)
Row 18: P2tog, purl to end (3sts)
Row 19: K2tog (2sts)
Row 20: Purl last 2 sts tog
B & T
Repeat for the remaining 18 sts.
 Leaf
Cast on 3 stitches - in green.
Work in SS throughout.
Rows 1-3: Inc at beg & end of each row
Row 4-10: SS (9sts)
Row 11: K2tog, K to end (8sts)
Row 12: P2tog, P to end (7sts)
Row 13: K2tog, K to end (6sts)
Row 14: P2tog, P to end (5sts)
Row 15: K2tog, K to end (4sts)
Row 16: P2tog, P to end (3sts)
Row 17: K2tog (2sts)
Row 18: P last 2 sts together

Oversew the row ends and turn inside out.  Attach the leaf vertically along the tulip.
