Instructions:
Using 4 mm needles cast on 25 stitches in a black ‘hairy’ wool.
The number of stitches cast on may vary depending on the type of wool you use
Knit every row until work measures 6cm
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
B & T tightly

Making Up:
Sew up the row ends and add a chin strip measuring 10 cm in a cord of your choice.  I threaded my chin strap through the knitting and caught it in place with normal sewing thread.
