Instructions:
Using 4 mm needles and double knit wool, cast on 56sts in a contrast colour
Knit 1 row
Change to main colour
Knit 1 row
Purl 1 row
(K2tog) rpt to end (28sts)
Continue in stocking stitch and work 9 rows
Row 14: (K1 green, K3 in main colour) rpt to end
Row 15: P1 green (P1 main colour, P3 green) rpt to end
Continue in green only
Row 16: (K2tog) rpt to end
Row 17: (P2tog) rpt to end
Row 18: K1, K2tog, K2tog
Work 5 rows as an I-cord
Row 24: (K2tog) rpt to end
Pass one stitch over the other.  B&T

Making Up:
Sew on a butterfly button, oversew the row ends and your flower is finished.
