You will need: 4mm needles, Yarn A – Red Double Knit, Yarn B – Green Double Knit Small bell Cast on 31 stitches using Yarn A Work two rows in Garter stitch Change to Yarn B and work 4 rows in stocking stitch Row 7: K1, * k2tog, k8, repeat from * to end of row (27 sts) Row 8: Purl Row 9: Knit Row 10: Purl Row 11: K1, * k2tog, k7, repeat from * to end of row (23 sts) Row 12: Purl |

Row 13: K1, * k2tog, k6, repeat from * to end of row (19 sts) Row 14: Purl Row 15: K1, * k2tog, k5, repeat from * to end of row (15 sts) Row 16: Purl Row 17: K1, * k2tog, k4, repeat from * to end of row (11 sts) Row 18: Purl Row 19: K1, * k2tog, k3, repeat from * to end of row (7 sts) Row 20: Purl Row 21: K1, * k2tog, k2, repeat from * to end of row (3 sts) Row 22: Purl Row 23: K1, k2tog Row 24: P2tog Sew up side seam using mattress stitch Sew small bell to top of hat, fold over slightly and stitch to side. |
