Train Hat
Instructions:
Using 4 mm needles and double knit wool
Cast on 28sts in a green colour
Knit 2 rows
Next row: K1 green, (K1 green, K1 black, K1 green) rpt to end, cut off green
Next row: Purl in black
Change to blue wool
Starting with a knit row, stocking stitch 8 rows
Introduce fluffy white wool (I used Sirdar Snuggly)
Next row: Knit – 7 blue, 1 white, 2 blue, 2 white, 1 blue, 3 white, 12 blue
Continue in SS and blue wool, work 3 rows
(K2tog) rpt to end (14sts)
(P2tog) rpt to end (7sts)
B & T
Making Up:
Sew the white ends in.
Sew a train button onto the railway line using matching cotton and lining up with the fluffy smoke.
