Instructions:
Body
Using 4 mm needles, cast on 25 stitches in ‘hairy’ wool.
The number of stitches cast on may vary depending on the type of wool you use
Knit every row until work measures 6 cm x 12 cm(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
(K1, K2tog) repeat to end
B & T tightly

Ears – Make 2
Cast on 7 in double knit wool, and knit one row
Inc in first stitch, knit to end
K 6 rows
K2 tog at start of all the following rows until 2st remain.  Pass 2nd st over the 1st. B&T.

Making Up:
Sew up the row ends of the body and turn inside out. 
Sew the ears to the body as illustrated above.
Cut a figure of eight shape from felt, sew in place and attach googly eyes.  (Ideally, the eyes should be bigger than the ones I used! 
Attach a brass bell to create the nose/mouth so your Furby can talk!
