Making Up:
Sew up the main seam at the back of the hat.
Sew in the white yarn at the top of the ear flap.
Use a darning needle to thread some contrasting yarn through the base of the ear-flap to leave two ‘tail’ ends.
Include the white cast on end and plait the 3 pieces of yarn to desired length.
To finish off, simply knot the yarns together and cut off the excess.
Make a pom pom in a colour of your choice and sew to the top of the hat.
