Instructions:
Body – use 4 mm needles, cast on 28st in lime green double knit
K19 in green (G), 2 in purple (P), 7 in green
P6 in G, 4 in P, 18 in G
K11 in G, 2 in P, 5 in G, 4 in P, 6 in G
P7 in G, 2 in P, 5 in G, 4 in P, 10 in G
K10 in G, 4 in P, 14 in G
Change to pink
Beginning with a purl row, SS 6 rows
Continue in SS, but P2tog or K2tog at start of every row until 6 stitches remain.
(P2tog) repeat to end,
B&T tightly.
Arms – make 2
Cast on 15 in pink
Beginning with a knit row, SS 3 rows
Continue in SS, but P2tog or K2tog at start of every row until 6 stitches remain.
(K2tog) repeat to end,
B&T tightly.
Making Up:
Sew on two buttons for the eyes, and embroider the eyebrows and mouth.
Sew in the purple ends, and then oversew the row ends of the body.
Sew the row ends of the arms, turn inside out and stitch to the side of the body.
Patrick Star is now ready for a swim!
