St st 4 rows
Next row (K1, inc) repeat to end (14st)
Next row (K1, inc) repeat to end (28st)
Cont in st at for 8 rows.
Knit 2 rows then cast off. 

The handles are a 2st icord over 6 rows.

Making Up:
Sew handles on to cup
Sew up side seams.
