Instructions:
Cast on 28 stiches on 3.75mm needles in bold colour
Rows 1-2: (K2 P2)rpt to end of row
Rows 3-4: (P2 K2)rpt to end of row
Rows 5-6: (K2 P2)rpt to end of row
Change to light coloured wool
Continue in SS for 3 rows
Next row: P14 knit into next stitch 3 times and turn K3 turn P3 turn K3 together and then purl to end of row, this creates the nose.
Work a further 4 rows in SS
Next row: (K2tog K1) rpt to end of row
Next row: Purl
Next row: (K2tog K1) rpt to end of row
Next row: (P2tog) rpt to end of row
Break off yarn and thread remaining stitches pull up and sew down back of Humpty.
Legs and Making up
For the legs using double ended needles (although you can knit them flat) (Make 2)
Cast on 4 sts in Dark Wool and work 8 rows SS
Change to black wool and work 4 rows SS
K2tog and pass 1st stitch over the 2nd one.
Break thread and leave enough wool to thread up to where the two colours meet. Fold back and sew along this join to make the shoe stick out in front.
Sew the legs to the main body. Finish by either using Wiggy Eyes or French Knots and add a mouth.
